Empower Martial Arts typically offers:

  • A “Summer Schedule”.
  • We offer morning and evening classes.

What if I have to miss the class I normally attend?

We have an extremely flexible attendance policy!

  • Students are not assigned to any specific class day or time.
  • Anytime a class is offered on our schedule, for the specific age group, the student may attend that class.
  • Students in the Samurai Warrior and Junior/Adult programs can attend unlimited karate classes/workouts.

How is a student promoted in belt levels?

Dyno-Mite Pre-Karate – These students earn stripes for the white belts they get when they sign up for the program. Specific skills and information must be performed and learned for each stripe. These Stripe Requirements are documented and provided to parents at the time of enrollment.

Samurai Warrior & Junior/Adult Karate – These groups of students receive Student Manuals at the time of enrollment, within which are the detailed lists of physical skills and martial arts knowledge that each student must learn and master for each belt level. Each set of belt promotion test requirements includes:

  • Specific martial arts skills that must be learned and performed,
  • Specific martial arts information that must be learned and recited, and
  • Completion of very important physical fitness exercises/repetitions intended to build strong, healthy and confident people!

All students must complete a physical belt promotion “test” for each belt level. There is a belt promotion fee.

IMPORTANT!

The best way to find out about the quality of our program is to come in and:

  • Talk to instructors and students, and
  • Talk to parents of students!

We look forward to meeting you!
